Neonatal intensive care unit provide intensive and personalized care to the newly born baby. The conditions of these babies are both congenital as well as aquired. Many of the newborn babies in our country are born either preterm or small for gestation age. These babies need specialized care till they are elder and mature enough to survive.

The Neonate Intensive care unit at vatsalya hospital is equipped with state of the art facilities which include the facilities for surfactant therapy to preterm babies, ventilation, CPAP, LED phototherapy, Exchange transfusion. Admitted newborns are provided with Developmentally Supportive Care for optimum neuro developmental outcome.
